TEXEL GROUP

Should we continue to let earthquake-resistant constructions to be handled by specialists only?

Megalith releases its workshops for the 8th edition, with Texel group which presents an opportunity to learn from professionals with years of experience in technology and management on earthquake resistant design. Texel group comprises of highly enthusiastic professionals who are excellent managers, wonderful designers and brilliant scholars. This gives Texel the right pedigree to provide work specific comprehensive consultancy and quality education. The Seismic Design of Buildings workshop primarily aims at familiarizing the participants with design of buildings and structures subject to seismic loading. Students will gain knowledge about the characteristics of seismic forces and the types of structural responses when subjected to these forces. Indian earthquake engineers have made significant contributions to the seismic safety of several important structures in the country. Come and be a part of it.

BENEFITS

The major objective of the workshop is to practically train participants about the design and analysis software used in Civil Engineering industry for developing earthquake resistant structures using earthquake simulation techniques.

DURATION

The workshop will be conducted by Texel. A one day workshop comprising of 2 session of 3 hours to be provided on Texel to the participants with hands on session on theory as well as practical problems. Then a quiz type will be conducted by Texel group where winners will be awarded with goodies and internship programs under Texel Group.

ACCE

From the earliest annals of history to modern times, there are numerous creations that showcase our ability to realize an incredible constructive vision. Bridge Design is a vital topic of study in Civil Engineering which form an indispensable part of our daily lives. Bridges acts as connecting links joining different cities, states and countries.

ACCE provides technical edge and industrial support to young and talented civil engineers by equipping them with the knowledge of soft computing applications through workshop on Bridge design. With Structural Bridge Design software, performing integrated loading analysis and code checking of small to medium span bridges and delivering design reports becomes faster. Bridge design explicitly concerns technical approaches as well as consideration of the existing built environment, natural environment and expected life span.

The workshops enlightens us on various aspects of bride design like span, location, foundation, load bearing capacity, design life period and various cost benefit analysis of different actions involved in its design by continuously developing and upgrading the services and facilities of the public like bridges, it not only gives the Engineer a sense of responsibility towards humanity but brings forth a sense of satisfaction that the work carried out by the Civil Engineer contributes significantly to the wellbeing of the society. The sole aim is to bring to the members the latest technological advancements in the world, prepare them to carry out futuristic designs with an eye on assurance of quality, to give access to more advanced technical papers, books and computer software, to arrange lectures by professional industrialist and to conduct study tour of projects.

BENEFITS

The major objective of the workshop is to practically train participants about the design and analysis software used in Civil Engineering industry for developing bridge designs.

DURATION

The workshop will be conducted by ACCE. A one day workshop comprising of 2 session of 3 hours to be provided on ACCE to the participants with hands on session on theory as well as practical problems.
